Wizard’s Toolkit

This code library was created in 2009 and each year we have improved and expanded upon it. Using a combination of PHP, SQL, JavaScript and MaterializeCSS, the development of full-featured websites and mobile apps is fast and maintaining them focus on the crucial customized is easy.

Low-code is the newest trend. This allows you to jump-start your development and then continue developing but you aspect for your specific business and leave the routine back-end processing to the library.

Our code writes code! Paste in a working SQL SELECT query and choose a few options to add extra features like quick-filters, then press a button and PHP pages are created which will display data from your database and allow updating.The Web Page Wizard creates both a listing page and associated update page.

Our most skilled project manager with over 30 years experience will work with you to determine your technology needs, write functionals and then after you review and approve, will translate them into technical specifications.   AWS S3 to C R2

We created tools to migrate your AWS S3 files to Cloudflare R2. As you know, the savings by moving to Cloudflare from AWS can be huge!

Our PHP code can be easily modified to use your folder structures by us our your staff. Pass in the "bucket" parameters for AWS and Cloudflare and our SaaS does the rest. This uses the "generate presigned URL" methodology so will work whether your buckets are private or public. The code does not remove anything from your AWS S3 bucket - we let you do that yourself from the AWS console.

Awards

Programming Labs won 3rd place at Startup Sacramento in 2013 using the predecessor of the Wizard’s Toolkit.  The Startup tech event started at noon on a Friday and ended at 4pm on Sunday during which time a business is defined, database designed and created and fully functioning website must be launched.

During that competition only three of our Programming Labs staff were involved and most of the other teams had 10 or more software developers. Winning third place was a major accomplishment we are very proud of.

Alec Sherman

Chief Technology Officer
and Full Stack Developer

Alec has been writing code for over 30 years and has managed Programming Labs for over 15 years. He’s the one that helps clients outline their functional goals, writes the technical specifications and manages the projects from start to finish.  He jumps in and helps with development as-needed but most of the work is done by other specialists on the Programming Labs team. Alec is the originator and chief engineer of the Wizard’s Toolkit.

Mary

SQL Expert

Mary loves diving deep into the data and pulling out the most significant data points. Importing and exporting data is one of her specialties. Automating monthly and quarterly reports with comparisons on prior data is one of her most requested services.

Hobbies include: speed optimization, index review, writing stored procedures, and creating analytic reports. For fun she likes to set up databases to automaticallly capture slowest queries. Yeah, she needs to get a life...

Lightning

Front End and Mobile Apps

Master of front-end and mobile app development.

Former Intel network engineer specializing in QuickAssist Technology (QAT), he developed an automated VDO (Virtual Data Optimizer) performance optimization tool using Python.

Lightning has won several tech competitions in various areas including ISCC (Cyber Security), the Intel Cup on Deep Learning, and “WRO” World Robot Olympiad Regional.

Jerry

System Administrator
and Security Expert

Jerry is extremely busy right now and has not had time to write his staff bio. He lives in the Cloud and specializes in virtualization of servers and DevOps. Plus he has privacy issues... and we locked him in the server room. More details coming later.

Galaxy

User Acquisition and ASO

Although Galaxy started at Intel as a cloud computing engineer specializing in virtualization tech and compiled a custom Ubuntu kernel for them, she decided to turn her great intellect to user acquisition.

She leverages data analysis tools to gain deep insights into user behavior, optimizing product features and user experience. Her competitive keyword analysis, ASO and product analysis has turned startups into successes with 60,000 registered users and 20,000 paying customers.
